Mr. Haw Qian Xing holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Malaya. He demonstrated noteworthy participation in the Asian Law Students’ Association, notably excelling in Moot Competition Organizing Committee duties. He also had the opportunity to participate in student exchange programs, which broadened his perspective on the legal landscape beyond Malaysia.

At Messrs Yeoh Shim Siow & Lay Kuan, he works closely with the team led by the Partner, Mr. Siow Wai Pin, Greyson and the Senior Associate, Ms. Gwee Chai Lian, Ashley in assisting with conveyancing, corporate & commercial matters and will writing. Prior to his commencement of pupillage, he had experience in assisting with a range of general litigation and employment litigation matters. He has completed an internship program with K.S. Pang & Co., a criminal law firm located in Johor Bahru and Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM), thereby obtaining valuable exposure to the intricacies of the criminal justice system.

He is fluent in writing and speaking Mandarin, English, and Malay.
